Project „Training centre “Maritza” for cooperative Bulgarian – Greek professional training”

Territorial range: The project will be implemented on the territory of RMA “Maritza” Member Municipalities and Evros District, Greece

Overall objectives:

• The overall objective of the project is to support the co-operation between the local organizations in regard to development of the human resources capacity and skills and to stimulate small cross-border projects

Specific objectives:

• Establishing Training centre “Maritza” for co-operative Bulgarian – Greek professional training

• Stimulating the co-operation between Bulgarian and Greek experts for development of common training programmes

• Developing of common programmes for professional training

• Implementing three pilot training initiatives on the programmes for professional training, developed within the project.

• Raising the qualification of the direct beneficiaries of the project

Target groups:

• Training institutions from Bulgaria and Greece

• Experts from Bulgaria and Greece

• Representatives of companies from the municipalities, members of RMA Maritza.

• Representatives of the municipal administrations of the municipalities, members of RMA Maritza 

• People in active age, citizens of the municipalities, members of RMA Maritza.

2. Establishing a centre for professional training

• Establishment of a centre for professional training

• Renovation and equipment of the training centre

• Official opening of the training centre

     3.    Developing of common Bulgarian – Greek programmes

• Development of common programmes

• Development of training materials

     4.    Implementing pilot training sessions

• Information campaign for enrolling trainees

• Implementation of pilot training sessions

     5.    Transparency and publicizing project activities

Expected results:

• Raising the capacity of the human resources in the sphere of information service, small and medium – sized business, tourist guides.  

• Exchange of experience between the training institutions, involved in the project and development of programmes for professional training.

• Establishment of cross border co-operation between the training institutions.

• Raising the capacity for implementing the joint project.

• Development of the subsidiary products within the project in connection with the programmes for professional training and the training centre.

• Raising the technical and managing capacity of the target groups and/or of some of the partners.
